“I thought if it’s a Melia then it will be a 4 star…. Unfortunately it had out- dated bathrooms and AC had a smell. Luckily the next day the room got changed and the AC was working. The hotel is only shining a 4 star because of the staff. The breakfast staff were amazing , friendly and very accommodating to our dietary needs. The receptionist are super friendly and welcoming, this hotel needs new lifts and update their rooms including bathroom!! Love the location and the lobby was very impressive and the sea view rooms are breathtaking. The hotel has all essential to make it a Melia once new changes are made”

“Was a bit worried about coming to hotel after reading some poor reviews. We actually had the opposite experience of the people with poor experiences. ||We booked a premium room and our room was like a penthouse suite with the best views across Alicante. The air conditioning was great, our room cleaned every day and probably the best views that I have seen in any hotel.||We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast didn’t disappoint. Food to a very high standard. Breakfast on until 11am which is quite unusual but good and fresh food and hot rolls being served until then. My husband gluten free and good selection of breads and muffins.||I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Probably best staff we have encounters. We had an issue with hot water and plumber attended and fixed within half an hour. ||The location of the hotel is absolutely ideal as close to everything. ||If there was anything that could be improved would only say maybe bigger lifts or more lifts. However the wait time considering the size of hotel was mainly short. ||Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. If you have a fear of heights then would request a room on a lower floor”

“Stayed here after booking a last-minute deal through a holiday website, and it was excellent value for money. We stayed on the 24th floor and the views were fantastic. The location is perfect, right on the seafront, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The breakfast buffet was also very good, with plenty of choice. The rooftop bar and restaurant looked great, but unfortunately it was fully booked for weeks, so we didn't get the chance to try it. The only real downside is the lifts. The building is very tall and narrow, with only two lifts serving over 26 floors, so waiting times can be quite long, especially at busy times. Because of this, I wouldn't recommend the hotel for anyone using a wheelchair or travelling with a pram, as the waits could be frustrating. The staff were all friendly and helpful, even if their English wasn't always very confident. One small suggestion would be to keep spare toiletries, such as shampoo and soap, at reception. Our shampoo bottle was empty when we arrived, and although staff said someone would bring a replacement, it didn't arrive until the following day. Overall, despite a couple of minor issues, we had a very enjoyable stay and felt it offered great value in an excellent beachfront location.”
